ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
SHP will support you to gain your BSc (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University, complete your ACCA Qualification and gain your Master’s Degree from the University of London.
This is a 4-year programme, but if you have other relevant educational qualifications then you should be eligible to skip parts of it. If you have an accounting or finance degree, for example, you can skip Step 2 below. We will confirm the steps you need to take as part of the matriculation process.

Step 1 – Matriculation
The matriculation fee includes:
- Registration with SHP and ACCA (ACCA will confirm any exam exemptions you are entitled to as part of the registration process).
- Discounted exemption fees (£20 each instead of £80 for each Diploma exam and £106 for each Advanced Diploma exam).
- If you do not have translations of your degree certificate/s and transcripts we will coordinate the translation for you (you will need to pay for the translation).
- Level Test if you receive exemptions that entitle you to skip a Step – a 2-hour online level test (in English) to check your level of English and technical knowledge.
- Personalised matriculation contract setting out the exams you need to take, the full class program and the total investment required.
Step 2 – ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business
- Three preparation courses (material and exam fees included): Accountant in Business (AB), Management Accounting (MA), and Financial Accounting (FA).
- Foundations in Professionalism online module.
- Classes: Thursday evenings 7pm-10pm (online, face-to-face in São Paulo, recorded).
- Duration: 9 months, 10-15 hours of study per week.
Step 3 – ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business
- Six preparation courses (material and exam fees included): Business Law (LW), Performance Management (PM), Taxation (TX-UK), Financial Reporting (FR), Audit and Assurance (AA), Financial Management (FM).
- Weekly 2-hour online mentoring sessions.
- Ethics and Professional skills online module.
- Classes: Saturday mornings 9am-1pm (online, face-to-face in São Paulo, recorded)+ weekly 2-hour online mentoring sessions.
- Duration: 18 months, 10-15 hours of study per week.
- Mentored Research and Analysis Project.
Step 4 – ACCA Essentials Exams:
- Two preparation courses (material and exam fees included): Strategic Business Leader (SBL) and Strategic Business Reporting (SBR).
- Weekly 2-hour online mentoring sessions.
- Ethics and Professional skills online module (if not done in Step 3).
- Classes: Saturday afternoons 2pm-6pm (online, face-to-face in São Paulo, recorded)+ weekly 2-hour online mentoring sessions.
- Duration: 6 months, 10-15 hours of study per week
Step 5 – ACCA Full Qualification and Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London:
- Two preparation courses (material and exam fees included): Strategic Financial Management (SFM) and Strategic Performance Management (SPM).
- One-on-one mentoring for the Strategic Financial Project.
- Duration: approx. 12 months, 10-15 hours of study per week
